Pictureless Post...but priceless.

If I could've only caught on camera what I witnessed today, it would be PRICELESS. It's a cute little image that I will always remember. Cheesy, maybe...true, yes.
I sent the kids outside today to get some fresh air. The sun today definately gave us spring fever. They were jumping on the trampoline with all the neighbor kids and decided they wanted to go across the street to play at the other kids' house. Riley and the other boys hopped off the tramp leaving Madi trailing behind...(mind you, I'm watching the whole thing...Madi still makes me nervous on the tramp...she is OC!!) Back comes Riley as she is struggling to get off, and he grabs her coat while she climbs down, then proceeds with trying to put her coat on...they didn't quite manage the process and decided to head over to the neighbors....again with Madi bringing up the rear. Riley then turns around, runs back to Madi and grabs her coat so she could go run with them.
As frustrated as I get with him, he's sure a sweetheart & knows how to take care of his little sister!
What a sweet heart!!!

You are summoned....

To help me if you read this post!!!

Okay, this isn't the update I promised you I'd give....but it's a post right?!
So there is a little addition to our family for a majority of the day....everyday.
Her name is Peyton...and I babysit her fulltime..so I thought. We had come up with $15 a day m-f. Well, fulltime to me was 8-5..ya know, like a regular work day. Well, it's NOT an 8hr day...which I wasn't at all expecting...which is fine...but not for 15 a day. She gets dropped off at my house at 6:45am, and gets picked up at 6:00pm. 11HRS!!!!! I'm expected to supply the food, drinks and she supplies diapers and wipes. With 11hrs, I am watching her longer..during dinner time now. I'm not experienced enough in knowing how much to charge....she said she is very flexible..I just need to let her know. Well what do I do...how much do I charge....Please help me!!!!
Peyton is 2 yrs old and has quite the sassy personality....I guess you could say she is like Madi...hmmm...so a hand full! :)

p.s. Bill is going dirt biking down in Mesquite, NV this Wed-Sun....so I will have plenty of evening time that I plan on updating the Blog per requests...Life has been busy.

Home for Christmas

UMMMM.....That's not somewhere we are going to make it for Christmas. Granted we are with ALL our family (minus Lindsay...(Loser), and David...also another loser!!) in Oregon!! All nineteen of us in a 1700 ft house. We all love each other, but I don't know how much longer that love is gonna linger. They have not had a storm like this since the early nineteen hundreds, late eighteen hundreds. It is the craziest thing I have ever witnessed. It is so gorgeous outside. It hasnt stopped snowing or raining freezing rain for over a week!!!! We were all traveling in this storm and made it here safely right before it got ugly but aren't going anywhere for some time. The power started flickering out yesterday, so we were getting everything prepared for that. Bless my sisters heart!!! She is a little freaked out trying to think if she has the neccessities to provide means if there is a power outage....luckily, she has been diligently "being prepared" and has followed our prophets words and has her food storage and a generator...and the stuff to live.
Granted she wasn't storing things for 19 people (her little family of 5), but she's done a pretty darn good job.
It's a little frustrating thing for me right now. My husband forgot to deposit his paycheck before he flew in, we have a dog outside that is hopefully still being taken care of, a Christmas tree that hasnt been watered since friday, we are suppose to be closing on our house in a couple weeks but have things that need taken care of before;....the list can go on and on....and on.
The storm started with snow and snow...then it started freezing rain...which is totally crazy if you haven't ever witnessed it!!! It seriously is! Then it snowed another six inches, then freezing rain again. We have a pile of Ice on my car that is about 1/2 inch thick, then 6 inches of rain, then another 1/2 inch of ice.
It's all so surreall...
I am just grateful that everyone arrived safe and we are all together.....for some time.
I am going to post a picture of this craziness when its a little less crazy.

What Does Your 'Pre-schooler' Want For Lunch??

Tell me would ya!!! Bet it's not as gross as this!!!

I have found that I HAVE to give my kids an option for lunch, otherwise, they'd starve. So, I gave them their options
Me:What would you munchkins like for lunch...Mac n Cheese, or Mickey Mouse Nuggets.
Prince Charming: UMMM...Pickles...with Bread and uh...honey on top!
Of course, I gave him many reasons why that wouldn't be very appetizing. But to much dismay....he persisted and persisted...so I gave in (hoping I could prove him wrong..ya know, Mommy knows best) Ya, didn't work...

Let's just hope he chooses not to go into the Culinary Field!!
