This is Lily's favorite thing to do...SUCK HER THUMB! Even when she is starving and nursing...her thumb and mouth some how meet. She loves to hold a blanky in her other hand. Once I get my video posting under control (help please) I'll have to catch her in the act...She rubs her whole hand across her face until her thumb eventually lands in her mouth...sometimes it's not even her thumb...just whichever finger feels comfy...
It's great right now, not having to worry about finding binkies. I'm nervous however, when we need to take it away....Tabasco Anyone!

Elidh sucks her thumb too. It is adorable and troubling at the same time. Her teeth are crooked already.

Sorry Jen, but take it from the "thumbsucker family": You're doomed! That disgusting thumb crap didn't work. I just sucked mine off. And do you remember Lerin? He had to get spikes on the top of his mouth, to make him stop sucking his thumb! That didn't work either! Hate to tell you this, but just look forward to braces and headgears :) Don't worry, we all went through it!
Is it possible to give her Binki back so you don't end up with tooth problems? How does one stop a baby from sucking something thats attached to them tempting them all the time? I hope for your sake that one day she decides she doesn't need it any more. She sure is adorable though. It is so much fun having girls, isn't it.
